About QuillBot Premium
QuillBot is an AI-powered paraphrasing tool — its core job is to reword sentences and passages you already have, rewriting phrasing and sentence structure while keeping the original meaning. That's different from Grammarly, which corrects and polishes text as you write it. MIST Central Library provides QuillBot Premium access to students and staff for rephrasing theses, assignments, and research papers in their own words.

How to Get Access
- Get a premium ID. Every department and wing in MIST already has a QuillBot Premium ID — collect it from your department/wing, or from the Library Browsing Section.
- Sign in. Use the premium ID and password to log in at quillbot.com.
- Install the tools you need. Add the QuillBot browser extension, or the Word/Google Docs add-in from the same account.
- Paraphrase. Paste in your text, pick a mode, and rewrite it — adjust the synonym slider until the wording feels right.
Getting a Premium ID
Visit the Library Browsing Section to get premium access, or ask your department/wing for the premium ID — every department and wing at MIST already has access.
