Proffessional Experience

More than 20 years of working experience in library management fields. Expertise in cataloguing and classification, documentation, reporting, database management, filing, and online resource handling. Adept in managing all phases of library and administrative works and capable of performing any tasks in any working condition and environment.

To be a dynamic professional in the field of Library & Information Management. Develop personal ability by having the knowledge to plan, organize, manage, and control daily activities of a Modern university. Ability to handle automated library management system including OPAC, Circulation, Reportmanagement and User id.

  1. Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Assistant Librarian (CSO-3)
    I have been working with Military Institute of Science and Technology as a assistant librarian from December 20, 2006 to till now.
    Main responsibilities
    Assistant Librarian is responsible to Commandant through Director, Research & Development for the following:
    • To provide reference service to library users.
    • To check and scrutinise the received books and bills for payment.
    • To carry out the technical supervision (Cataloguing and book shelving) to the library.
    • To provide first-time enquiry services for users of MIST.
    • To assist the Librarian and deputise for him/her in his/her absence.
