    I have been working with Military Institute of Science and Technology as a librarian (Head of the library) from March 10, 2011 to till now.
    Main responsibilities
    Librarian is responsible to Commandant through Director, Research & Development for the following:
    • To run day to day functioning of the library.
    • To prepared libraries role, objectives, policy, planning and implementation.
    • To set-up and organized of the library.
    • To prepared long and short-term plan for procurement of books/reading materials.
    • To utilise the library fund properly before the end of the financial year.
    • To maintaining and entry books, reports in library accession registrar.
    • To maintenance library management software as library administrator.
    • To enrich of online resources and provide to the faculty members and students.
    • To providing current awareness service (CAS).
    • To make necessary correspondence at home abroad on behalf of MIST on library matters.
    • To control, supervise and detail the duties of the Library Staff.
    • To training programme, seminars and workshops in the center are support to documents.
    • To prepare an annual library report/bulletin
    • To act as Secretary to the Library Committee
